Texans are working harder than ever, and yet housing, healthcare, and childcare are becoming unaffordable. Property taxes and insurance have risen while billionaires keep getting more tax breaks. Owning a home should be more accessible for more Texans. Utility bills are skyrocketing and need to be reigned in. Texas families should not have to choose between food or medicine.

Priority policy positions:

• Fight against any efforts to increase the sales tax.

• Expand Medicaid to access preventative care and lower healthcare costs for everyone.

• Guarantee full-day, fully funded prekindergarten for every child.

• Realistic property tax reform for homeowners and relief for renters.

• Oversight of residential property insurance rates. 

All families deserve the best education for their kids. We need to fully fund public schools, support great teachers, expand mental health resources, and invest in school safety. Our community benefits when any child can learn in a safe, high-quality environment – not when we waste taxpayer money on vouchers.

Priority policy positions:

• Increase the basic allotment to invest in our kids, teachers, and safety.

• Require shared accountability between TEA and school districts before state takeovers, and ensure no decision to close a school relies on a single test.

• Stop wasteful voucher spending and instead apply funds to meet the Texas Legislature’s Constitutional obligation for free and efficient public schools.

• Amend the Education Code and Foundation School Program formulas to base Tier 1 and Tier 2 state funding on student enrollment rather than average daily attendance.

We’re done losing rights while others take more. We will build a brighter future for ALL Texans that live, work, vote, worship, and learn here. Jobs should pay enough to live on. Texans deserve the freedom to earn their fair share, build opportunities, and retire with dignity. We want our elected officials to meet the needs of HD 94, not have their hands tied by corrupt politicians at the top. We need a voice against big money greed and for our interests, like energy and community safety.

Priority policy positions:

• Install an independent redistricting committee to stand against big money in politics.

• Stop the AI data center freebies. Regulate AI data centers to pay for their own electricity and water, and be accountable to the communities around them.

• Local economies need the ability to grow and community members deserve the chance to voice input. We need to change the state law, SB 840, that removes local control to ensure that people here at home, not politicians in Austin, make decisions about our communities.
